Eco Solutions utilizes a bulk profiling methodology for consolidation and packaging of household hazardous waste. Through this approach, we can perform a quality operation in a cost effective manner. In addition, Eco Solutions prides itself in being associated with secondary user groups and the National Materials Exchange Network which provide a local and international on-line marketplace for trading and recycling used and surplus materials and goods. The underlying purpose of the user groups and Exchange is to provide a forum for the reuse, recycling and resource recovery of what would otherwise be waste materials or wasted goods. In utilizing this association, Eco Solutions reduces the amount of HHWs actually being bulked, thereby reducing liabilities and total costs of disposal and/or recycling to the client. All of Eco Solutions’ hazardous waste programs are staffed with experienced hazardous waste specialists, and scientists. All professionals are certified in accordance with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.120 in hazardous waste operations and emergency response. Eco Solutions’ team specializes in segregating, consolidating, packaging, and labeling materials on-site. The materials are then manifested to a treatment facility. In addition, qualified field scientists are provided at each event to identify and classify unknown materials using visual and HazCat fingerprinting identification.

Eco Solutions’ team representatives will meet with the client and other agencies to detail and finalize the operations plan, health and safety plan, scheduling, personnel needs, traffic plans, material handling protocols, waste tracking, interface points, advertising, and public education or any other specifics to the program. In addition, Eco Solutions provides computerized permit by rule (PBR) notification forms to meet submittal requirements of the Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) for HHW events.
